Smells Like Bad Karma

What is it about the end of the school year that makes karma turn around and give us a kick where it hurts?

Exhibit A: A guy in my program was expelled for plagiarism.

Exhibit B: Yesterday, a guy was arrested in B-Wing for unknown causes.

Exhibit C: Also yesterday, a student at Sheridan's Davis Campus died.

Throwing a Fit

Still have my cold this morning. I've been coughing a lot more, but it's not always a productive one. There's a character in a show I watch who has tuberculosis - I'm starting to understand how he feels. Only without the blood and stuff like that.

Word of the day today is 'phlegm,' boys and girls. It's brought to you by the sound *cough hack*.

Another work week. I should be on the front page of the Sheridan Sun this week - that'll be good for my portfolio.

The girls and I went to the end-of-year carnival for residence tonight - brrrrr, chilly! Free burgers, cotton candy, popcorn, prizes, and a chance to pie the RAs in the face. Does it get any better than that? Good times with Andrew too - really need to set up an end-of-year hangout with him. And return his movie.

Talking With Your Hands

Something occurred to me today: I talk with my hands. A lot.

And when I realized that, I thought about how I'm on MSN a lot as well. When you're on any instant messaging program, you're "talking" but you can't talk with your hands. Several times, I've felt that, while explaining something, I haven't done half as good a job as I could have had I been speaking face-to-face with the person and using my hands.

Thus, I have come to the conclusion: VIVA SKYPE!
